Heres the short version… I've got a cat about 6 - 12 mos old
I've had her for 4 days.
As far as I know, shes been outside the entire time, till now. I want to have her be an indoor cat.
She has been wormed and has had diareah…. when in her cage she uses the litter box.
She also uses the litter pan outside the cage when i let her go and play around with my other two cats….
BUT… she has this thing.. where she goes along the wall… and then hunches up to poop.. i catch her and put her in the litter box and then she goes there….. why is she wanting to poop along the wall, or in the corner? What can i do other than keep putting her in the litterbox? The carpet is newer and not been soiled by my other cat…. I figure she will get it over time.. but until then, im going to keep her in a cage while unattended so i can be sure shes using the litter.

I always thought a cat took to litter, and rarely had problems as they prefer that over anything else.

Yes it's clean….

Any suggestions?

I actually had the same problem with my kitten and it took me a lot of research to find a solution. I was told first to buy special liter for cats training to use a liter box I would suggest you try that first and if that works great since she's older it might work better then it did for my cat who was only about 5 weeks old when I got her. When that didn't work I was told to take a small box, put liter in it and put it where she always tended to go. Like humans, cats, find using a liter box a "private matter" so they tend to use a corner of the room or behind something to be out of the way. With the small liter box there they have choice to use it and over time you can move it away from there and to the spot you want to keep the liter box. I suggest keeping your box you have now, but taking a smaller box and putting a small amount of liter there so she has an option, but when she uses the smaller box eventually take away the smaller box and only leave her the original box as the option. This may sound complicated, but it worked for my cat and never had a problem with her since. Good luck.

I've used World's Best Cat Litter so it wouldn't have any dust (which it didn't) but the smell is horrendous! The second she pooped, I could smell it all the way across the house. It advertised that the litter would last 30 days before changing it, but it didn't even last 4 without driving everyone insane with the horrible odors. So, I got Fresh Step multi-cat (clumping kind), and the whole house filled with this dark cloud of dust but the smell was great and definitely handled odors because I couldn't even tell when my cat pooped. Is there a happy medium? I'm looking for the best litter for smell/odor control but no dust! I've heard Yesterday's News litter gets gooey and messy. Can anyone suggest something for me? I'm a novice at this.
I scoop about 3X a day, but the smell from World's Best was so horrible I had to scoop every time which was more than 3X a day.

I always use Fresh Step Scoopable with Odor Eating Carbon. It's a crystal so there's no dust. It's also a clumping litter so it's easy to scoop.
I have 6 cats, and 2 automatic litter boxes, and have no smell in my house from the boxes.
I've tried other brands but so far this one is way ahead of the others.
The company also puts a coupon in each pack of litter. It's not a discount coupon, but is worth "Paw Points" that are redeemable for products through the website. I've gotton several rewards and they are great.
I highly recommend this litter!

Current Hair Regimen

Once a week I shampoo and condition my hair using nu gro shampoo and nu gro moisturizing conditioner.

Throughout the week 2-3 times a week or every other day I do CO- washes aka conditioner washing using my own mix of:
2 tsp Amla Powder mixed with water til it looks like yogurt.
2 tsp MSM aka organic sulphur powder
1 tsp Jamaican Black Castor Oil for thickness
2 tsp Amla Oil

I apply this to my scalp first by parting my hair in maybe 1/4″ parts all the way to the top until my entire scalp is covered. then I apply the rest on my hair & ends and edges until my head looks like I stuck it in my ty cat litter box.

I let it sit for 8-12 hours under a plastic cap then rinse with water only. All finished.

Once my hair has air dried I apply emu oil on my scalp and ends. This oil is not heavy and has NO scent at all. No additional moisturizer is needed, the emu oil seems to be fine as my only leave in.

When I straighten my hair I use CHI but I’ve stopped using heat and now I just do dry roller sets and it comes out the same. Plus the rollers are PINK!

I wrap my hair with a silk scarf at night and mostly leave it on hroughout the day unless it’s really hot or I have to go somewhere.

Oh p.s. I forgot
Sometimes I use a little bit of aubrey organics 100% aloe vera gel on my edges. Like a dime sized rubbed into my hands and then smoothe it over.
