My cat pees on our beds. How do I make her stop?
She is a year old. The problem started just a couple months ago. We try to keep her litter pan really clean. We clean it every few days. I try to give her as much attention as I can.
Last night my brother and his girlfriend were playing with her on my brother's bed. She looked up at my bro's girlfriend and just started peeing on the bed. I don't understand what her problem is.
The first thing to consider is that your kitty might be ill so she should be taken to the vet.
Litter box problems are very frustrating for all…..human and feline. Here's a link that you might find helpful:

Next time you see her near the bed, say "No." firmly and put her in her litter box. She'll learn soon.

It's time to keep the bedroom doors shut. My cats have a deep respect for the bed and love to lie on it, so they don't do their pee pee there. I don't know why some cats do that, but maybe she ought to stay out till she learns that's not a nice idea.

She needs to be seen by a vet. If she is peeing right in front of someone it is highly unlikely that it is behavioral. She probably has a urinary tract infection. Untreated it can be very dangerous and even life threatening.

what you need to do is clean the mattress really really well with stain and odor remover…your little kitty is smelling the scent and thinking that is where she is supposed to go.
you also might want to take her to the vet because when a cat doesnt use their litter box it usually means they are sick…their litter box is like sacred to them so they wont use it when they are sick

She may be trying to tell you something. Take her for regular check-ups.?
If there is pink or red in the pee, take her to the vet.
She may be mad about something.Maybe she doesn't like someone playing with your brother.
Who knows? My cat pees on amp. Is it my MUSIC?
The vet told me "And he will keep doing it".
Nobody knows the answer.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well sandy there's nothing to worry about! it's perfectly normal… sometimes when cats feel the urge to "mate" they start peeing everywhere (the pee smells awful :s) So, if this is the case, and if your cat keeps crying and whining all the time (especially during nights), then it's time to take her to a vet! A small surgery will remove the "mating" urges… Anyway, good luck

she may have peed on ur bro's bed because she was marking her teritory(but normally female cats arent very teritorial with humans). she seen another female and was letting her know that that was her place. another reason may be because she is more comfortable using it up there on the bed. this usually work with potty training a cat too: every hour or so that you are home take her to the litter box. everytime that she uses the litter box give her a treat. if she pees on the bed give her a firm NO and take her directly to the litter box. never hit your cat or any animal, that causes them to get aggresive, and form a dislike against humans.

expeirience. i had a cat that used to pee on this one spot on a rug. no where else except that spot. i started that, where i would take her to the litter box and everything, and she stopped.

well, make sure you wash the blankets and sheets in vinegar. this will get the smell out of them. if you dont get all of the smell out, she will keep going back to that spot because she smells the urine in the blankets. the second thing i would try is putting a small litter box in the corner. she might use it because it is so close.if this doesnt work, youll have to give up the blanket and put it under the litter box. she might smell it and go in the litter box. once she does, the urine smell will be in the litter. she will smell it and use the litter box. then wash the blanket in vinegar again so the smell is out. this is what i did. hope it helps!

My brother moved backed from the U.S and my cat just starts peeing all over his bed when he sees him. just keep the door shut and dont let it come in until she knows who your brothers girlfriend is. and maybe the litter box is full so check on it often.
good luck on your kitty!!
